Our Story

From Concept to Retail-Ready

Amithraj Apparels was established in April 2023 as a partnership firm with a clear mission: to deliver precision knitwear manufacturing from tech-pack to finished garment.

We specialise in fully-fashioned knitwear across all gauges — from chunky 3GG to fine 14GG — working with natural fibres like merino, organic cotton, acrylic, and wool, as well as technical blends engineered for durability and hand-feel.

We serve both domestic brands and export clients across the UK, USA, Germany, and Dubai — with a commitment to quality, transparency, and on-time delivery.

Stage 01

Design & Planning

Tech-pack review, pattern programming, gauge & yarn selection

Stage 02

Yarn Store

Yarn sourcing, lab-dip approval, colour matching, cone winding

Stage 03

Knitting

Shima Seiki flat knitting — panels, trims, and components

Stage 04

Linking & Assembly

Hand-linking, seam joining, button attachment, label insertion

Stage 05

Finishing & Packing

Steaming, pressing, quality check, folding, poly-bagging, carton packing

CAD & Pattern Room

Pattern digitisation, grading, and knit programming for Shima Seiki machines. Converts tech-packs into machine-readable files.

Sampling Department

First-look prototypes, fit samples, and pre-production samples (PPS) for client approval before bulk manufacturing begins.

Quality Control

In-line and mid-line inspection during knitting, dimensional checks after washing, and final audit before packing and dispatch.
